PMU Procedures
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Avoid if you have major scarring or keloids.
- Not suitable for those who are pregnant or nursing.
- Inadvisable if on antibiotics as it may lead to poor ink retention.
- Cannot proceed if allergic to lidocaine, unless willing to undergo the procedure without numbing.
- Allergy to pigments is manageable with a test patch conducted 20 minutes before the procedure.
- No use of Accutane within the last year; no use of retinol or Retin-A in the last 4 weeks.
- Certain medications may interfere—please discuss these with your PMU artist.
- Consult your doctor before proceeding if undergoing chemotherapy.
- Not recommended for individuals with epilepsy or severe autoimmune diseases.
- Anemia may affect pigment retention; please consult with your PMU artist.
